SOLUTION

Enterprise Wi-Fi Solution

Predictive-designed and post-installation-validated enterprise wireless networks with cloud management, AIOps, location analytics and secure guest and IoT segmentation.

OVERVIEW

Enterprise Wi-Fi Solution — engineered by Proxima Technologies

Proxima Technologies designs, deploys and operates enterprise Wi-Fi networks across the UAE and Saudi Arabia — from single-floor offices to multi-tower campuses, hotels, hospitals, stadiums, warehouses and university campuses. Every network is engineered for real client density, roaming quality and application performance, not just coverage on a map.

We start with a predictive RF design in Ekahau or Hamina, followed by on-site passive and active surveys once the shell is ready. Our RF engineers plan channel width (20/40/80/160 MHz), transmit power, cell size and roaming thresholds for the actual client mix — laptops, phones, VoWiFi handsets, scanners, medical devices and IoT sensors.

Deployments cover Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Wi-Fi 6E on 6 GHz and the latest Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) on Cisco Meraki, Cisco Catalyst 9800, Aruba (HPE), Juniper Mist AI, Ruckus and Fortinet FortiAP. Cloud management, AIOps, and open APIs give your IT team a live view of client experience — not just AP status.

Security is built in: WPA3-Enterprise, 802.1X with RADIUS, dynamic VLANs, per-SSID firewalling, guest captive portals, BYOD onboarding and IoT segmentation with NAC (Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Fortinet FortiNAC). Every project ends with a post-install validation survey and a signed acceptance report.

FAQ

Enterprise Wi-Fi Solution — frequently asked questions.

Which Wi-Fi standard should we deploy today — Wi-Fi 6, 6E or Wi-Fi 7?+

For most enterprises we recommend Wi-Fi 6E as the sweet spot in 2026 — mature clients, 6 GHz spectrum and strong pricing. Wi-Fi 7 is recommended for greenfield sites, high-density venues and any 5–7 year investment horizon. We can mix standards per zone.

Do we need a site survey before deployment?+

Yes. A predictive survey validates AP count and placement on your floor plan; an on-site passive/active survey after installation validates real-world coverage, roaming, interference and throughput. We consider both mandatory for enterprise deployments.

Which platforms do you deliver?+

We are certified on Cisco Meraki, Cisco Catalyst 9800, Aruba (HPE), Juniper Mist AI, Ruckus (CommScope), Extreme Networks and Fortinet FortiAP. We recommend the platform based on your existing stack, use case and TCO.

Can you cover outdoor areas, warehouses and stadiums?+

Yes. We deliver outdoor mesh, point-to-point / point-to-multipoint links, hardened AP enclosures and high-density stadium designs with directional antennas and per-seat capacity planning.

How do you handle guest, corporate and IoT traffic on one network?+

We segment SSIDs into dedicated VLANs with firewall policies, use NAC (ISE, ClearPass, FortiNAC) for device profiling, and apply per-device policy so a compromised IoT sensor cannot reach corporate workloads.

Do you support Wi-Fi calling and VoWiFi handsets?+

Yes. We tune roaming thresholds, band steering, DSCP-to-WMM mapping and controller QoS for VoWiFi handsets (Ascom, Spectralink, Vocera) and Wi-Fi calling on mobile devices.

Can Wi-Fi provide analytics and wayfinding?+

Yes. Meraki, Mist and Aruba ALE provide dwell time, footfall, zone analytics and BLE-based wayfinding — used by retail, hospitality and healthcare to improve customer and patient experience.

Do you provide ongoing management after go-live?+

Yes. Our managed Wi-Fi service covers 24/7 monitoring, firmware, guest portal admin, RF re-tuning, spare AP pool and post-change validation under a tiered SLA.
